Qingdao HighTech Creative City

The project is a new city development which locates at the heart of the Red Island HighTech Zone of northwest Qingdao. The urban concept follows the idea of a mixed / vivid urban cluster, compromising 5 cells with 3 zones along one strip. A continuous band of green connects all five activity cells public functions together, offering shortcuts and additional features to resident and corporate citizens.

Along the main strip, the skyline of the headquarter buildings creates an urban back drop, culminating at the entrance landmark cluster along at the east side of the plot. 5 business towers with a max height of 150m create an impressive entrance of the new city and commercial axis towards the neighboring Intelligence Island. This CBD function marks an important intersection as well as the transition to the business functions of Intelligence Island. Further north the Qingdao Brand Exhibition Center nestles inside a lush green extension of the river bank.
