Chongqing Testing Grounds Changan

The Chongqing – Testing Grounds Chang’an is situated in the village Huangxiang, Dianjiang County, Chongqing Municipality. With a distance of about 150km to the downtown area the testing grounds have an area of 3362Mu, of which about 140Mu is used as comprehensive service zone. The total investment amounts to 1,2 billion RMB. The testing grounds are designed by OBERMEYER, whereby Tongcheng Design Institute is responsible for the transforming of the design into working drawing, the 4. China Railway Bureau for the construction and the Liansheng Supervision Co. Ltd. for the project supervision.In the testing grounds there are altogether 12 testing tracks including high-speed track, braking test track, dynamic plaza, reinforcement track, performance track, comprehensive evaluation track etc. The dry/wet handling track is unique in China in world-class level; the high-speed tracks has the highest safety driving speed(200km/h) and the most lanes(4-lane); the dynamic plaza is the largest in diameter(300M); the wet skidpad is independent and the comprehensive evaluation track has the most road types in China(over 20); Bedides 330 Mu plots are reserved for further development. The whole testing grounds are leading in regard of the scope and function completeness.
