From Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, OBERMEYER attended the Fenestration BAU China 2018 and Architecture and Design Expo (CADE), and were exhibiting our low carbon city model and the related Low Carbonation Game. OBERMEYER’s intention is to spread the philosophy of energy efficiency and sustainable development in urban planning and architecture. Our booth attracted a lot of visitors, most of which participated into the low Carbonation Game, while building their own ideal city, following the principles of reduced carbon footprint and compensation for Carbon emissions.

The Low Carbonation Game is based on our design of a low carbon city which was part of an urban design competition for Shenzhen. Low Carbonation is a tool that helps Chinese urban development to achieve a Low Carbon City with a system that uses different kind of technical and / or spatial interventions in relation with the existing ecological structure.

This is the third time for OBERMEYER to participate in cooperation with Fraunhofer at Fenestration BAU China 2018 and Architecture and Design Expo (CADE). We are pleased to witness that the congress has been firmly established and would like to seek future cooperation to share OBERMEYER's expertise on green buildings and urban planning in its possible ways.
