Groundbreaking Ceremony in Sino-German Eco Park, Qingdao
On June 13th The Green Building R&D Institute (hereinafter called GDI) was officially established. Mr. Andreas Becker, Director of OBERMEYER Beijing Office, along with Mr. Jiang Yizhou, Senior Project Manager, was invited to the ground-breaking ceremony in Qingdao Sino-German Eco Park and signed the strategic cooperation agreement with GDI on behalf of the company. Both parties will make full use of their strength on ecology and low carbon, enhance information sharing, reinforce cooperation, and realize a regional ecological management system, technical regulation, systematic establishment and improvement of the level.
GDI was initiated and established by Sino-German Eco Park Management Committee. It is a third-party institution supported by SG Architecture Engineering Design Consulting (Qingdao) Co., Ltd on green ecological construction special verification and consulting. During the ceremony, Mr. Becker and Mr. Jiang Yizhou introduced the long tradition of sustainable planning and green building at OBERMEYER. As one of the largest independent firms of engineers and architects in Germany, the company can offer interdisciplinary consulting services and overall concepts tailored to the client’s real property. As a result of our advisory skills, conceptual strength as well as extensive experience in the design and implementation of schemes of varying scale and complexity, the company can guarantee the success of the project.
It is understood that by signing the agreement, GDI will further cooperate with OBERMEYER and other strategic partners on ecological city planning and construction, eco-park indicator system implementation, ecological industry development, green building design consulting, ecological construction research, etc. OBERMEYER will provide Sino-German Eco Park with intellectual and technical support on controlling the ecological construction direction to create a national and international ecological demonstration park.
